Coorg's climate is characterized by mild winters and hot, humid summers, with the southwest monsoon bringing significant rainfall from June to September. The region's elevation and proximity to the Western Ghats also result in a relatively cooler climate compared to other parts of southern India.

Before you go

• Talakaveri and Bhagamandala are a half-day together. Tula Sankramana around 17 October draws large crowds. And the coffee blossom in March-April is a distinct and less-known reason to come.
