Significance & tradition
A single UNESCO serial inscription spanning six separate forts — Amer, already loaded here, is one of them, and this circuit also feeds directly into fixing the main UNESCO circuit's own coverage.
History
Built by Rajput rulers between the 5th and 18th centuries CE, illustrating the evolution of Rajput military architecture and the courtly culture that grew inside these forts' walls.
